Wheaton’s corporate governance practices have been and continue to be in compliance with applicable Canadian and U.S. requirements. The company continues to monitor developments in Canada and the U.S. with a view to further revising its governance policies and practices, as appropriate.

Wheaton believes that there are no significant differences between its corporate governance practices and those required to be followed by United States domestic issuers under the NYSE listing standards.

As part of the Company’s commitment to the UN Global Compact, the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics was updated to include the company’s commitments for human rights, labour, and anti-bribery and anti-corruption practices during 2019.
